BCC announces record performance in 2008 on the market of SAP services

In the past year, BCC grew its revenues by nearly 60% against 2007 of which as much as 40% was attributed to export services.

The total sales, generated on implementation and development of SAP systems and outsourcing services, amounted to PLN 79.64m against PLN 50.2m in 2007. The total sales value of all BCC Group companies (BCC, 7milowy, External Services) reached ca PLN 100m.

“The growth in sales was attributable to three main factors. First, a considerable rise in BCC export services. Second, completion of large-scale SAP implementation contracts in Poland. Third, the growing number of outsourcing contracts”, said Bartłomiej Buszczak, BCC President.

BCC specialists participated in SAP projects in more than 20 countries, including Holland, Finland, CEE states, Egypt, the Middle East (Jordan and Lebanon) and Indonesia. BCC consultants carried out complex SAP implementations, supported development of SAP corporate solutions, roll-out and data migration projects.

Among the largest SAP projects, completed and continued by BCC in Poland, noteworthy are SAP ERP implementations in bigest manufacturing company, AmRest (operator of such brands as KFC and Pizza Hut – the project also covered the Czech Republic and Hungary), Aquanet (in Poznań); as well as the biggest Polish implementation of SAP HR employee self-service solutions and the SAP CRM project in Wolters Kluwer Polska. The company also supported a number of large-scale SAP corporate roll-outs in Poland in such areas as the pharmaceutical, logistics, aerospace and food sectors. In the past year, BCC carried out its first implementation of Business Objects tools (e.g., project in Grupa Onet.pl).

The share of outsourcing services in BCC’s total sales value went up by more than 50%. In 2008, the company signed 32 outsourcing contracts, gaining 20 new clients for SAP hosting, administration and servicing, including Atlantic, a lingerie manufacturer; companies belonging to the EdF energy group; Hochtief, one of the biggest companies in the construction sector; Pekaes; companies from the Volkswagen Group and the Żabka retail chain. In November 2008, BCC outsourcing center was the first IT provider in Poland to be awarded ISO 20000 certificate, which demonstrated the conformance of the IT service management system with the ITIL Best Practices.

“In 2007, we expanded our team of SAP specialists by 50% and thus were prepared to take on the responsibility for such extensive projects. Today BCC stands for more than 230 SAP consultants, more than a dozen years of experience on the SAP market and an outsourcing center employing the highest global management standards. We are the largest supplier of SAP services in Poland”, claims Bartłomiej Buszczak.

In 2009, BCC plans to strengthen its leading position on the SAP market and maintain the sales figure from the previous year. The company will also be heading for an extensive development of hosting services and outsourcing of business processes (through its subsidiary, External Services). Furthermore, BCC Group expects to enhance the position of 7milowy on the market of SAP services for the SME sector.
