The Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS) improves the management of local administrator passwords. This is a much safer solution than a basic password change by GPO.
The Local Administrator Password Solution is a free solution and can be implemented on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 or later.
