Opoczno SA, the largest domestic manufacturer of ceramic tiles will be using SAP solutions. The implementation began in mid October and is conducted by BCC.
Opoczno SA will be using the SAP solutions to a large extent – from finances through logistic areas up to human resources. The implementation process covers functionality of the following modules: FI – financial accounting, TR – Treasury, FI-AA – assets accounting, CO – controlling, MM – materials management, SD – sales and distribution, PP – production planning and HR – human resources management.
The financial, materials, sales and distribution modules will be used by 1st of June 2002 and the production planning and human resources modules – by October 2002 and January 2003, respectively.
Opoczno SA is the largest and at the same time the most modern manufacturing factory of ceramic tiles in Poland. Market share of Opoczno ceramic tiles reaches approximately 20%. The Opoczno tiles are manufactured from natural raw materials and natural pigments with leadless glaze application and at the same time comply with the most rigorous standards set by European regulations.
