BCC registered its operations exactly 10 years ago, on 23 June 1995, at the same time as SAP started its operations in Poland. Nowadays BCC is the most important company on the market of SAP implementations and estimates its market share in recent years at 25%.
The tenth year of its operations has been very profitable for the company’s development. In all 2004 BCC reported an increase in income by over 40% when compared to the previous year. The growth of income was substantially influenced by services in new SAP products: Business Intelligence solutions, customer relationship management mySAP CRM solution and SAP NetWeaver integration platform. Rapidly growing share in BCC income is made up by outsourcing services. At the end of 2004 the company created a separate Outsourcing Services Department, which now serves 15 clients.
During 10 years the number of clients that took advantage of BCC offer exceeded 100 companies (out of more than 300 companies in Poland that implemented SAP system). In last 12 months BCC started or significantly developed cooperation with such companies as Metro Group (real and Praktiker market chains), Polkomtel, Żywiec Group, Chemet Chemical Equipment Plant, Knauf Group, Berker Polska, Isuzu Motors, DEC.
BCC specialises in SAP services targeted at large enterprises. In 2004, in order to increase SAP availability for middle-sized businesses, BCC decided to create a new company – 7milowy sp. z o.o. It implements SAP system based on preconfigured SPRINT solutions, which enable to start a wide scope of SAP system in considerably shorter time and at lower implementation costs.
For many clients BCC executes innovative projects in areas such as Business Intelligence (implementations of SAP BW and SAP SEM), SAP NetWeaver, mySAP CRM. The company is a SAP expert partner in all those areas, and in SAP NetWeaver is has the biggest competence center in Poland. Implementations executed by BCC are often among the first in Poland of their kind. Bearing this in mind at the beginning of his year BCC created Research and Development Center, which is to coordinate all development works in BCC that are related to creating own products based on SAP system and technology.
The last 12 months have also seen a considerable (by about 40%) increase in staff number. Currently BCC employs more than 100 people, and the team of SAP implementation and service consultants has more than 70 people (including 7milowy team, over 80 consultants). BCC consultants provide services for clients all over Poland and are based in depots in Poznań, Warsaw, Cracow and Bydgoszcz.
