We attended SAP NOW 2024
Another edition of SAP NOW 2024, one of the largest business and technology events in Poland, has now gone down in history. As is tradition, the event took place at the Sheraton in Sopot from October 8–10. This year’s theme was “Business in Step with Technology. Bring Out the Best in Your Company!” All for One Poland, together with its clients, Polish Nuclear Power Plants and TECE, hosted two inspiring presentations.
Another edition of SAP NOW 2024, one of the largest business and technology events in Poland, has now gone down in history. As is tradition, the event took place at the Sheraton in Sopot from October 8–10. This year’s theme was “Business in Step with Technology. Bring Out the Best in Your Company!” All for One Poland, together with its clients, Polish Nuclear Power Plants and TECE, hosted two inspiring presentations.
This event, aimed at executives, business decision-makers, IT specialists, and SAP partners, brings together several hundred participants each year from companies within the SAP ecosystem: partners, suppliers, and, of course, customers.
This year, SAP NOW adopted an expanded format. Over the course of the three-day conference, attendees had the opportunity to participate in over a dozen presentations, divided into thematic sections. The first two days were dedicated to a business perspective on technology and were aimed primarily at business representatives, board members, and department heads. The third day—RISE with SAP Innovation Day—focused on technology topics, primarily for IT representatives, CIOs, project managers, business line managers, and anyone interested in the technical aspects of SAP technology.
On the first day, conference participants were welcomed by the heads of SAP Poland: Piotr Ferszka, CEO, and Dorota Zaremba, Executive Vice President and Director of the Commercial Sector. A highlight of the day was an expert panel discussion on artificial intelligence—its latest trends and challenges.
The SAP Innovation Awards Gala was held that evening. One of the awards was presented to representatives of Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe for their rapid implementation of SAP S/4HANA and SAP SuccessFactors in the public cloud model. This project was carried out with the support of All for One Poland and was the first implementation of the S/4 system in a public cloud model in Poland.
A presentation on the experiences from this project took place on the second day of the conference, as part of the “I Want to Be in the SAP Ecosystem” track. Representatives from the PEJ and All for One implementation teams spoke about the challenges, pitfalls, and successes achieved.
On that day, All for One was also prominently featured in the “I’m in the SAP Ecosystem” track. The case study presentation—conducted jointly with TECE’s IT director—on the selective migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA at TECE generated significant interest among the audience, which included many representatives from companies planning a similar transformation project.
Special guest Jerzy Owsiak revealed in his speech how to effectively build large-scale projects and carry them out meticulously. This inspiring presentation—and Jurek’s personality—confirm that if something seems unattainable, it can be achieved.
As always, networking was an interesting and highly anticipated part of the event. Informal conversations, expert roundtables, face-to-face meetings with experts, and exchanging contact information are just some of the reasons why SAP NOW is worth attending. This year, too, we offered our guests a healthy alternative to coffee—freshly squeezed fruit juices served at the All for One expert table have already become our trademark.
